V.E. Day Challenge

Happy Victory in Europe day! This is the day, 75 years ago, when the end of World War 2 was announced after Germany surrendered. It’s hard to imagine how excited people were to think that 5 years of fighting were finally over. No more fears of bombs falling or loved ones on the front line being killed… No wonder there was dancing in the streets!

Can you complete the Victory in Europe challenge below? You need to find your way through the maze, from the front of the Lancaster Bomber, round the Spitfire and Hurricane, all the way to the Victory sign.

  1. See if your dad or grandad can tell which plane is the Spitfire and which is the Hurricane! The shapes and markings are different… I just hope I have captured them accurately enough!
