All-Seeing Glasses Gallery – Part 1

Depending on how good your Kindle device is, you may not have been able to see the illustrations for Part 1 of Caleb and the All-Seeing Glasses very clearly, so here they are in big and in full colour. I don’t think they give too much of the story away, but if you think it would be safer to wait until you have read the first part, you can come back later!

I know some of you are aspiring authors and illustrators, so you might be interested to know that these pictures have taken me an average of 3 hours each (including the pencil rough – see the post about how I go from a concept to a completed picture), though some as many as 5 hours!

To meet my deadlines, I have also had to average one picture a day for the past few weeks. As you can see, writing and illustrating books takes a bit of discipline – but if you enjoy what your are doing, then having to do some every day is a pleasure and not a pain!
